Chat2DB is an AI powered SQL client and database management tool. It turns natural language questions into SQL queries, fixes SQL errors in one click, and pairs that AI layer with a full graphical client for browsing, editing, migrating and analysing data across relational and non relational databases. It suits developers, data analysts and database administrators who work across many engines from one desktop application. Supported sources include MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, MariaDB, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, DuckDB, Neo4j and many more. Capabilities include a SQL copilot and intelligent editor, code generation from schema, a context aware chatbot supporting more than ten language models, ER diagrams, table copilot, data import and export in CSV, XLSX, XLS and SQL formats, structure synchronisation and migration, and AI data analysis that builds dashboards and charts from questions. Business terms can be added as column comments so the AI understands the schema. The company states that queries run locally and only table structure is shared with the model, and API access lets teams embed its AI services in their own applications. The core project is open source under Apache 2.0. The pricing page publishes perpetual Local licences as one time payments per user: Local Lite at $99, Local Max at $199 with 1,000 AI credits, and Local Ultra at $399 with 3,000 AI credits, each covering two devices. A subscription Pro tier with a free 30 day trial and a Team tier also exist, but their prices load dynamically and were not shown in the page text.
