About ArkDesign
ArkDesign is an AI platform for architectural schematic design and feasibility analysis, and the vendor calls it the first AI solution for architectural schematic design. Given a lot, it generates floor plans and unit layouts for multifamily and mixed use buildings, optimizes them for profitability, density and livability, and produces feasibility reports that follow US building codes and local ordinances.
It is built for architects and real estate developers working at the earliest stage of a project, when the question is what can be built on a site and whether the numbers work. Capabilities include lot editing tools, automated area tables, unit mix optimization, mixed use floor design and schematic generation in minutes rather than weeks. Higher plans add Revit exports and consulting from ArkDesign's own staff, and the company states it holds United States Patent number 11,972,174 for its approach.
Pricing is published in three tiers. Lite is free with three projects, three PDF reports, access to the knowledge center and free online courses. Pro is $180 per month, shown as reduced from $399, with 12 projects, 60 PDF reports, 600 AI generates, unlimited downloads and uploads, Ark AI Architect certification, weekday office hours support and human support within 24 hours. Premium is $1,800 per month, shown as reduced from $3,600, with unlimited projects, reports and AI generates, three Revit exports a month and additional consulting services.
The scope is deliberately narrow: ArkDesign serves US multifamily and mixed use feasibility, not general architectural drafting, so it is a front end to the design process rather than a replacement for CAD or BIM tools.
