Atlas Navi

Atlas Navi is a navigation app for drivers that uses a smartphone camera and machine learning to detect road conditions while driving. With the phone mounted on the windshield, the app identifies traffic in each lane, available parking spaces, congestion, police, accidents, closed roads and potholes. It adds a road report automatically and reroutes other drivers around the problem. The app also includes a dashcam that records the road ahead, stored on the device or optionally in the Atlas Navi cloud, along with trip history, speed and driving behavior statistics, group trips with live locations and walkie talkie audio chat, and live streaming of a trip that friends can watch without installing the app. An AI view shows what the camera is detecting, and a My Car section sends alerts for insurance, inspection and road tax expiry, manufacturer recalls and preventive maintenance. Atlas Navi is built around a drive to earn model. Drivers who share camera data earn $MILE rewards, can collect licensed 3D vehicle NFTs that appear on the map, and can earn $NAVI by referring friends. The vendor states that its approach produces far more data per mile than other navigation apps, and its about page notes European Union co funding for the project.
