About GitaGPT
GitaGPT is a conversational assistant that answers everyday questions with scripture from the Bhagavad Gita. A user describes what they are facing, whether a difficult relationship, grief, a career decision or a loss of direction, and the assistant replies with guidance anchored to a specific shloka rather than to generic advice. The full set of 700 verses sits behind the conversation, and a daily shloka with its meaning is delivered each morning.
The product is built for Indian users first. It converses in 22 or more Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali, and the vendor positions these as native conversations rather than translations of an English answer. Ten guides are available, each answering from a distinct Vedic perspective: Krishna, Shiva, Ganesha, Rama, Hanuman, Buddha, Chanakya, Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi. Guided Vedic meditation sessions, spiritual growth tracking, a reading community called GyanLok, voice conversation and an avatar mode round out the experience.
The Seeker plan is free and covers five conversations a day, the daily shloka, access to all 700 verses, three guided meditation sessions and read access to the community. Devotee is ₹99 per month and adds unlimited conversations with all ten guides, voice interaction, the avatar experience, growth tracking, the full meditation library, an advertisement free interface and priority responses. Sadhak is ₹299 per month and adds two live sessions with a human guru each month, emotion aware conversations, a family plan for up to five members, private satsang rooms and export of a spiritual journal as a book. Prices are published in Indian rupees.
GitaGPT launched from Gurugram in February 2023 and was founded by Vikas Sahu.
