About Hexabot
Hexabot is a self hostable platform for AI workflow automation. It lets you build AI agents and business automations that talk, act and remember across channels, using your own infrastructure so production data stays under your control. Version 3 is current, and the project is source available under the FCL 1.0 ALv2 license. A command line tool scaffolds a project from a starter template and starts a local stack for building workflows.
Workflows can be triggered from chat, forms, schedules or events, and they call models, tools, APIs and back office systems. You can design flows visually or as portable YAML with typed contracts, schema validation and version control friendly files. The runtime includes managed memory, retrieval augmented context and MCP integration points, plus conditionals, loops, an inbox and live human handoff when a person needs to step in. Multilingual assistants can run across web, messaging, social and custom channels, with roles and analytics for operators. The site cites Orange as a customer running multilingual service automation.
It suits developers, agencies and operations groups that want customer facing assistants and automations without sending data to a hosted service.
Pricing is based on license keys for self hosted installs, with no billing by messages or workflow executions. Community is free with no license key, one user and 10 workflows.
