About Magic School AI
MagicSchool is an AI platform for K12 education that gives teachers and students a library of AI tools in one place. It is built around schools and districts, with safeguards intended to keep AI use appropriate for classrooms, and it describes itself as the AI operating system for schools.
For teachers it offers more than 80 tools covering lesson planning, worksheet generation, quiz generation, IEP creation and presentation creation, along with an AI instructional coach and student learning insights. For students it offers more than 50 tools for writing feedback, tutoring and similar tasks, and Student Rooms let a teacher choose and configure tools, set learning goals and share them with a class. Studio Mode lets users edit AI output and export it. The platform integrates with Google Docs, Google Classroom, Canvas and other systems. The vendor states that it is SOC 2 certified and compliant with FERPA, COPPA and GDPR, that built in safeguards flag personal data leaks, bias and factual errors, and that it does not use student or teacher data to train AI.
It is aimed at individual teachers, schools and district leaders who want a managed, auditable way to adopt AI.
