Remove.bg

Remove.bg is an automatic background remover for photos. A user uploads an image and the service removes the background in about five seconds without manual selection, returning either a transparent PNG or the subject on a white or custom background. The vendor positions it for ecommerce shots, car listings, professional headshots, and logos or graphics that need a transparent backdrop. The site has dedicated sections for individuals, photographers, marketing teams, developers, ecommerce sellers, media companies, car dealerships and enterprises, and it offers a Magic Brush for manual touch ups on difficult edges. Developers can integrate removal through an API. When a user rates a result negatively, the site asks whether the image may be contributed to improve the underlying model, and users can accept or decline that request. The home page states that removing a background is free, and a pricing page presents plans for max quality output, automation and scale. Purchases go through a signup flow on the vendor's account system. The pricing page does not publish plan amounts in readable text. The vendor also runs a blog covering tutorials such as removing backgrounds in GIMP and creating overlays for social posts.
