About Tabnine
Tabnine is an AI coding assistant for enterprises that need code completion, chat and agents running entirely inside their own environment. It provides real time completions, a chat interface that answers questions about the codebase, and a Tabnine Agent available in the IDE and on the command line that carries out coding tasks, all backed by an Enterprise Context Engine that keeps a structured, continuously updated knowledge graph of an organization's systems and dependencies.
The buyer is a large engineering organization with strict data handling rules. Tabnine offers SaaS, private installation and fully air gapped deployment, supports multiple AI models and a broad set of languages and IDEs, and positions itself as a private, organization aware assistant rather than a consumer tool. The documentation lists two plans, Enterprise (SaaS) and Enterprise (private installation); there is no individual or free tier.
Pricing is not published. Tabnine is sold through Tricentis, and both tabnine.com and its former pricing page now redirect to Tricentis product and contact pages, so quotes come from Tricentis sales.
Tricentis announced its acquisition of Tabnine on July 30, 2026, and plans to fold the Enterprise Context Engine into its Agentic Quality Engineering Platform to give testing agents enterprise wide context. The announcement does not commit to Tabnine continuing as a standalone product, which anyone evaluating it for long term use should factor in.
