About AltIndex
AltIndex is an investment research app that scores stocks and portfolios using alternative data. It watches signals that sit outside the financial statements, such as Reddit mentions, web traffic, app downloads, job postings, insider trades, social sentiment and congressional trading, combines them with fundamentals, and issues an AI score from 0 to 100 for each holding and for a portfolio as a whole.
It is aimed at retail investors managing their own money, with an institutional alternative data offering and a developer API for people building on the same signals. Users can upload a brokerage screenshot or connect a brokerage to score their holdings, follow daily AI stock picks, receive push alerts on sentiment shifts, insider activity and price moves, question an AI analyst that answers with live data, copy rules based Autopilot portfolios and compare results on a leaderboard. Apps are available on iOS and Android, and a free account requires no credit card.
Platform pricing has two paid tiers. Starter is $29 per month or $199 per year and includes a 25 stock watchlist, one brokerage connection, the top 25 AI picks each day, alerts, AI chat and a three filter screener. Pro is $99 per month or $499 per year with unlimited watchlists and connections, all 200 daily picks, the full screener with export, API and MCP access and priority support. API plans are Hobbyist at $19 per month or $120 per year for 250 requests a day, Developer at $79 per month or $480 per year for 1,000 requests a day with MCP, and Research at $199 per month or $1,200 per year for 10,000 requests a day with commercial use, plus a custom Enterprise option.
