About Assemblio
Assemblio is industrial software that generates assembly instructions from CAD data. An engineer imports a model in STEP, P21 or JT format, and the software uses AI to derive a standardized digital work instruction in minutes rather than the weeks a manual process takes. It also produces the manufacturing bill of materials from the design data, simulates and validates the assembly sequence to catch errors before parts reach the line, and manages changes and product variants so instructions stay current.
It is aimed at manufacturers in heavy industry, defense and aerospace, and automotive, where assembly knowledge is often locked in the heads of experienced workers and needs to be captured for a global workforce. The product comes in two parts. Assemblio Composer is the planning tool for building and validating sequences with drag and drop step editing, and Assemblio Smart Viewer is an interactive 3D guide that presents the result to workers on the shop floor. Instructions export to PDF, Word and video, and the software supports German and English. It integrates with AutoCAD, Teamcenter, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, Fusion, Onshape and Solid Edge. The company is based in Stuttgart, Germany, holds ISO 27001:2022 certification from TÜV Süd, is GDPR compliant and has received EU funding.
