Canva Text to Image

Canva Text to Image is the image generation feature built into Canva's design editor. A written prompt produces an image directly on the page in the chosen style and aspect ratio, and the result can be regenerated or refined until it matches the intent, then edited with the same photo tools available to any Canva design. Generation can also start from a reference photo rather than from text alone. More than ten prebuilt styles are offered, among them Photo, Vibrant, 3D Render, Cinematic, Pop Art, Bokeh, Sketch, Vector and Minimalist, and image size is selected to suit the destination, whether a presentation, a social post, a poster or a storyboard. Related features sit alongside it: Text to Graphic produces icons, stickers and illustrations matched to a brand, and Text to Video turns a prompt into footage that can then be given filters and transitions. Canva applies automated review of input prompts to block terms likely to produce inappropriate output, and provides reporting inside the product for anything that slips through. The feature is not sold on its own, so access comes with a Canva plan and generation draws on a shared AI allowance. Canva publishes Free at US$0 per year for one person with up to 20 standard or premium AI uses, Pro at US$144 per year for one person with ten times the AI allowance of Free, and Business at US$250 per year per person with twenty times that allowance plus team administration and brand controls. Enterprise pricing is arranged with the sales team. Pro and Business can add an AI Pass at extra cost.
