Continual

Continual is a platform for building the internal software a company runs on by describing it to AI. A team explains how an operation should work, such as a renewal process or a supply chain workflow, and Continual builds the data model, workflows, interface and AI agents, then runs them on a shared foundation the company controls. The vendor positions it as a company operating system that brings analytics, applications and agents together. It is designed for operations, finance, client services and engineering teams that have outgrown spreadsheets and generic SaaS but do not want to commission custom software. The platform models business objects such as customers, products and orders, adds workflows with steps, approvals and automations, tracks metrics and goals, and enforces permissions, policies and audit trails. Data sits in fully managed Postgres with no lock in, and Continual connects to existing CRM, ERP, spreadsheets, documents and APIs. Agents can investigate exceptions, such as tracing an invoice variance to a freight surcharge, and route work to the right owner for review. Pricing is usage based rather than per seat. Free costs $0 per month and includes one project, $10 in starter credits and unlimited collaborators with no credit card required. Business costs $100 per month and includes $100 in monthly credits, one shared workspace balance, unlimited projects and email support. Enterprise is custom, for more than $5,000 in monthly credits, with SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, flexible deployment and white glove onboarding. One credit equals one US dollar of rated usage across model, tool, runtime, database, storage and network consumption. Credits expire: monthly plan credits two months after issue and top up credits 12 months after purchase.
