Leonardo.Ai is a generative image and video platform built around its own models, with Phoenix as the foundational image model, Lucid Origin and Lucid Realism for photorealistic output, Motion 2.0 for video, and third party models such as FLUX Dev and FLUX Schnell available inside the same interface. Users describe a scene, choose a model and style, and refine the result with editing, upscaling and consistency tools. It runs on the web and as a mobile app. It suits illustrators, game and concept artists, marketers and studios that want fine control over style rather than a single default look. Every image generated on the platform can be used commercially, including on the free tier. Paid plans add a monthly token allowance, top up token packs that never expire while a subscription is active, a rollover bank for unused tokens and, on the higher tiers, unlimited relaxed generation for supported image models (Lucid Origin, Lucid Realism, Phoenix 1.0 and 0.9, FLUX Dev and FLUX Schnell). The top tier adds unlimited relaxed video generation with Motion 1.0, 2.0 and 2.0 Fast. Leonardo for Teams adds shared billing, invoicing and admin controls, and an API with Basic and Standard plans serves developers. Pricing is published as four tiers: Free with 150 tokens a day that reset every 24 hours, Essential with 8,500 tokens a month, Premium with 25,000 tokens a month and Ultimate with 60,000 tokens a month. The pricing page renders the dollar amounts in the browser, so confirm current prices there before buying. There are no free trials on consumer plans; Team trials are considered case by case. Leonardo.Ai is owned by Canva, which said at the time of the acquisition that Leonardo would continue to operate independently while its Phoenix model is integrated into Canva's Magic Studio products.
