Whisper Memos

Whisper Memos is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that records voice memos, transcribes them with AI and delivers the result by email. A recording made on either device arrives in the inbox seconds later as a formatted message with automatic paragraphs and a summary. Recording is designed to start immediately. The app supports a lock screen widget, home screen widget, Action Button, long press on the app icon, Watch complication, Siri, Back Tap and Control Center. Recordings can run up to 90 minutes. AI summaries can be customized with the user's own prompts, which are saved as custom tabs. Saying remind me in a memo extracts a reminder, and a live timer appears on the lock screen during recording. Existing audio files from other apps or devices can be imported for transcription and summary. A Meeting mode, added in August 2026, produces transcripts separated by speaker that can be named and color coded, on both iPhone and Apple Watch. Memos can be routed to Notion, Trello, Todoist, Google Docs and thousands of other apps through Zapier, and transcripts can be exported as a ZIP. The app suits people who capture ideas, meeting notes or lecture notes by voice and want them in an email or note system without typing. Pricing: the app is free to try. The subscription is $9.99 per month billed monthly, or $69.99 per year billed annually, which works out to about $5.83 per month. All plans include the same features, including unlimited memos.
