About Amelia
Amelia was an enterprise conversational AI platform for building digital employees that handled customer service and IT support conversations. The brand has since been absorbed. The amelia.ai domain now presents OASYS, the Orchestrated Agent System for Conversational AI from SoundHound AI, and the Amelia name no longer appears anywhere on the site. Anyone researching Amelia today is evaluating OASYS.
OASYS is a platform for creating, controlling, testing, operating and improving voice native AI agents that serve customers and employees, described by SoundHound as one platform for the full agent lifecycle. Agents can be generated from prompts and historical data, given a configurable voice, tone and level of detail, and constrained by layered guardrails at the instruction, task, function and channel levels. Teams simulate thousands of conversations before going live, monitor performance in a real time analytics dashboard, and can let a person step into a live interaction without a full escalation. Under the hood it runs SoundHound's own Polaris speech to text, Tempus language model and Solaris text to speech engines alongside models from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Mistral, Grok and Amazon Bedrock, with support for custom models. Target sectors include contact centers, healthcare, financial services, retail, automotive and telecommunications.
Pricing is not published. OASYS is sold to enterprises through SoundHound's sales team, with no self serve plan or listed rate.
SoundHound acquired Amelia in 2024, and OASYS is now the product offered in its place. In September 2026 the company introduced OASYS Edge, which lets an agent built once run in the cloud, on the edge or in a hybrid deployment.
