Artbreeder

Artbreeder is a browser based image creation platform built around mixing and editing rather than typing a single prompt. Its signature tool, Splicer, blends images together and lets users adjust their genes, such as age, gender and color, to produce portraits, characters and landscapes. The newer Splicer2 interface extends that to mixing, branching and editing images in one workspace, and every creation keeps a public lineage so others can remix it. It suits character designers, concept artists, writers building worlds and hobbyists who want to explore variations quickly. Beyond Splicer, the tool set includes Prompter for text to image, Composer for mixing images and text with precision, Mixer2 for turning images into complex prompts, Collager for assembling shapes, images and text, Outpainter for expanding an existing image, Animator for animating text and images, and Worlds, an experimental world building and storytelling space. Artbreeder is free to use with a paid Pro subscription that adds credits, removes ads, and unlocks privacy controls for individual images, Google Drive sync, 2048 pixel high resolution downloads, unlimited generation in Composer and a fast mode for Splicer. Pro is published in three tiers: Starter at $7.49 per month ($89.88 a year) with 1,200 credits per year, Advanced at $15.99 per month ($191.88 a year) with 3,300 credits per year, and Champion at $30.99 per month ($371.88 a year) with 8,400 credits per year.
