About Asana
Asana is a work management platform, and its AI layer, which the company calls Agentic Work Management, is built on the Work Graph that already records a company's projects, tasks, goals and owners. The aim is to let people and software agents run the same workflows side by side rather than keeping automation in a separate tool.
Three pieces carry the AI work. AI Teammates are prebuilt agents, with more than 30 available for marketing, operations and IT plus industry versions for manufacturing, retail, professional services and healthcare. Asana Dash routes work to the right teammate and surfaces the next action from meetings, Slack and email. AI Studio builds automations without code that intake requests, classify and route tasks and send alerts. Connectors and an MCP endpoint let staff work on Asana data from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
Pricing is published per user. Personal costs $0 for up to 2 users. Starter costs $10.99 per user per month billed annually, or $13.49 billed monthly. Advanced costs $24.99 per user per month billed annually, or $30.49 billed monthly. Enterprise and Enterprise Plus are quote based. Starter includes 5 AI requests per user per month up to 50 per account, plus 50,000 AI Studio credits per billing account per month. Extra AI requests are sold as prepaid packs at $0.50 per request, or on demand at $0.60 per request billed monthly in arrears.
Note that Asana now markets several adjacent products under the same brand, including service management, client management and StackAI, so which plan a buyer needs depends on which of those surfaces they intend to use.
