AutoCut is a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve that automates the repetitive parts of a video edit inside the editing software itself. Instead of exporting to a separate application, editors run its tools on the timeline they already have: silences are cut, captions are generated, camera angles are switched and clips are reframed, with the results left as editable cuts and layers in the project. It is built for video editors, YouTubers, podcasters and production teams handling long recordings and multi camera shoots. The plugin bundles a set of named tools. AutoCut Silences removes dead air, AutoCaptions produces animated captions with styling and translation, AutoCut Podcast detects who is speaking and switches cameras, AutoCut Angles handles angle changes, AutoZoom adds timed zooms without keyframing, AutoViral finds strong moments and produces social clips, a B roll tool inserts AI selected images and Storyblocks footage, AutoCut Repeat detects repeated takes and keeps the best one, AutoProfanity Filter bleeps or mutes swearing, AutoChapters writes YouTube chapters with timestamps, and AutoResize reframes a sequence for other formats. It supports Premiere Pro 2023 to 2026 and DaVinci Resolve 18.6 or later on macOS and Windows, including the free edition of Resolve.
