About Casablanca
Casablanca is a virtual camera for Windows and macOS that restores natural eye contact in video calls. Because a webcam sits above the screen, participants appear to look away from one another. The software corrects the gaze in real time so a speaker appears to be looking directly at the other person, as though a small camera were mounted in the middle of the display.
It installs as a virtual camera and is then selected inside the conferencing tool, so it works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other common platforms without extra hardware. All image processing runs locally on the user machine, which the vendor presents as its privacy position: it states that it never sees the meetings themselves. The company positions the product for sales calls, webinars, online teaching, recruiting interviews and presentations, where perceived attention carries weight.
Minimum hardware requirements are published. On Windows the software calls for an Intel Core i5 or i7 with Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EUs or an AMD Ryzen 7640HS, together with an AMD Radeon RX 5600m or Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card. On Mac it requires an Apple M1 chip or later.
The pricing page publishes no self serve plan or standard rate. The only option shown is Enterprise, which carries a personalized quote, a partner program and premium customer support, and is arranged by contacting the sales team. The site is published in German and English, with the German pages serving as the primary version.
