ClipDrop

Clipdrop is a browser based suite of AI image tools for producing and cleaning up visuals quickly. Each tool does one job: generate an image from a text prompt, remove or replace a background, clean unwanted objects, people or text out of a photo, uncrop an image to a new aspect ratio, upscale by two or four times, relight a subject, or resize one image for every social media format in one pass. It suits marketers, ecommerce sellers, designers and anyone who needs a usable product shot or social asset without opening a full editor. Nine tools are offered on the site: Universal Resizer, Text to Image, Replace Background, Remove Background, Cleanup, Uncrop, Image Upscaler, Relight and Text Remover. Developers can call the same capabilities through the Clipdrop API, which is billed on usage. Pricing is published in three tiers. Free costs $0 and includes text to image and uncrop plus daily caps of 20 requests on background removal, upscaling, cleanup and relight and 50 on text removal. Pro is $15 per month and raises every tool to 1,000 requests per 24 hours at high resolution, with queue skipping for text to image. The API is priced separately on usage. Clipdrop has changed hands twice. It was built by the startup InitML, acquired by Stability AI in February 2023, and sold to Jasper in February 2024, where it now operates alongside Jasper's marketing tools.
