About Codeium
Codeium was an AI code completion company whose product became the Windsurf editor and is now Devin Desktop, owned by Cognition. codeium.com redirects to windsurf.com, which redirects to devin.ai/desktop. Devin Desktop is a full IDE on macOS that doubles as a command center for coding agents: it runs local and cloud agents in parallel, tracks their tasks on a kanban board, and isolates work in Spaces backed by shared context and Git worktrees.
It is built for developers who want agents doing substantial coding work while they keep a conventional editor with syntax highlighting, debugging and autocomplete. Fast Context searches large codebases quickly, Supercomplete predicts multi line edits, the Agent Client Protocol lets other agents plug in, and integrations cover Slack, Linear, Notion, Figma, Datadog and ESLint among others. The Windsurf plugin for JetBrains IDEs remains available separately.
Pricing has five tiers. Free provides a light agent quota with unlimited inline edits and tab completions and limited model choice. Pro is $20 per month with higher quotas across frontier models, full model availability and cloud agents. Max is $200 per month with much higher quotas. Teams is $80 per month plus $40 per month for each developer seat, for up to 200 users, adding an admin dashboard, centralized billing and priority support. Enterprise is negotiated and adds SAML or OIDC single sign on, dedicated account management and a dedicated deployment option.
Existing Windsurf installations updated over the air to Devin Desktop with plans, pricing, extensions and settings carried over, so nothing in this listing describes the older Codeium extension.
