About DeepMotion
DeepMotion produces 3D character animation from ordinary video using AI motion capture, with no suit, markers or studio hardware. Its main product, Animate 3D, takes a clip and returns a rigged animation, with face and hand tracking and support for several people in one video. A second product, SayMotion, generates 3D animation from a written description instead of footage. The company has worked on physics simulation and body tracking since 2014.
It is used by indie game developers, animators, XR artists and educators who need motion data without a capture stage. Output formats include FBX, BVH, GLB and DMPE for animation data plus MP4, JPG, PNG and GIF for preview. Clip length limits rise with the plan, from 20 seconds up to 360 seconds. A rotoscope pose editor lets users correct joints frame by frame, and a credit program returns credits for labeling uploaded videos or correcting poses. One credit equals one second of animation or one 3D pose, with face and hand tracking each adding half a credit per second, and an API is available for production pipelines.
Animate 3D plans are Freemium at no cost with 25 credits a month, Starter at $9 per month paid annually with 180 credits, Innovator at $17 per month paid annually with 480 credits, Professional at $39 per month paid annually with 1,500 credits, and Studio at $83 per month paid annually with unlimited credits, the first 7,200 each month at the highest job priority. SayMotion is priced separately as Freemium, Starter at $9, Professional at $39 and Studio at $83 per month paid annually. Credits reset monthly and do not carry over, and a commercial license requires a paid plan.
