About Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe Premiere, which Adobe now markets without the Pro suffix, is professional video editing software for desktop and mobile. Its AI features are built on Adobe Firefly: Generative Extend adds frames and missing ambient sound to a clip, Generate on Timeline creates video and sound effects directly inside a sequence, and text based editing transcribes footage on import so a rough cut can be assembled by copying and pasting lines of dialogue. Object Mask tracks subjects without manual rotoscoping, Media Intelligence finds footage from an everyday language description, Enhance Speech cleans up dialogue, and captions translate into 18 languages.
It is used by professional editors, content creators, students and enterprise teams. Beyond the AI tools it covers color grading, including a new Color Mode in beta, audio mixing and sound design, an effects and transitions library, animated titles, Frame.io review and approval, and projects that sync between the desktop application on Windows and macOS and the mobile app on iOS and Android.
US pricing is published on the product page. The Premiere single app costs US$22.99 per month on an annual plan billed monthly and includes Adobe Express Premium, 100 GB of cloud storage, 25 generative credits per month and Frame.io. Creative Cloud Pro, which bundles Premiere with more than 20 other apps and 4,000 monthly generative credits, is US$69.99 per month and is currently promoted at US$34.99 per month for the first three months. Students and teachers pay US$19.99 per month for the first year. For teams, Premiere is US$37.99 per license per month and Creative Cloud Pro is US$99.99 per license per month.
