About FaceCheck ID
FaceCheck ID is a face recognition search engine. A user uploads a photo of a person, and the service compares it against an index of faces gathered from social media, news sites, blogs, video, mugshot collections and sex offender registries, returning ranked matches with a confidence score. Scores are grouped into bands running from certain and confident matches down to uncertain and weak ones, and paid searches link through to the source pages where each image was found.
The stated use is verification: confirming that a dating profile, a business contact or a seller is the person they claim to be, and checking whether a face appears in criminal or offender records. Paid tiers add access to source links, priority search, continuous daily monitoring of a person of interest with Telegram alerts, and export of results to PDF and Excel. The site carries its own caution that many unrelated people look alike, that information on the internet may be inaccurate, and that a face search should never be relied on by itself. The terms also state the service may not be used for decisions about consumer credit, employment, insurance or tenant screening.
Credits are sold in four packages, all paid in cryptocurrency. Rookie Sleuth is $19 for 150 credits that expire in 14 days. Private Eye is $47 for 400 credits that expire in two months. Deep Investigator is $197 for 2,000 credits that expire in six months. The Professional is $597 for 10,000 credits that expire in one year. One search costs three credits. Payment is accepted only in Bitcoin, Litecoin and Solana, there is no card checkout, and the vendor states that all sales are final.
