About Finch 3D
Finch is an AI platform for building design, aimed at architecture and engineering teams working from early feasibility through schematic design. It generates buildable floor plans, area calculations and BIM geometry from a brief, and updates building performance data as the design changes, so a team can test many options against real constraints instead of drafting one and hoping it works.
The central idea is a Plan Library. A firm encodes its own standards, past projects, accessibility rules and local code once, and every subsequent generation is grounded in that library, which keeps results aligned to the firm's quality bar. The platform covers master planning, residential, high rise and office work: testing unit distribution and density across a site, generating layouts with vertical alignment across tall buildings, and producing office test fits validated against compliance codes. An agent named Archie takes on repetitive precision work such as exact door placement, compliance checks and propagating consistent updates across linked units. Models export to Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper and other drafting tools.
Three plans are published. Free covers a single user with all editing tools and real time building performance metrics. Basic is €79 billed monthly for a single user and adds early stage generation of optimized unit mix and circulation, with a fourteen day free trial. Enterprise starts at €14,500 billed annually for three seats and adds the firm wide plan library, AI powered floor plan generation, code and compliance checking, custom BIM export and integrations, the design agent and single sign on; it is sold through a demo.
Note that the generative features that define the product sit above the free tier, and full generation with code checking is only in the annual team license.
