About GPTExcel
GPTExcel is an AI spreadsheet assistant. Users upload an Excel or CSV file, or a photo of a table, ask a question in plain English, and receive answers, formulas, charts, pivot tables, slide decks and written summaries. It is aimed at data, finance and operations teams who spend their time in spreadsheets and want to skip the syntax.
The tool covers formula generation and explanation for Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc and Airtable, plus SQL queries and regular expressions. It builds native Excel pivot tables, slicers and pivot charts from a plain English request, generates VBA, Apps Script, LibreOffice Basic, Airtable and Python scripts, and cleans and transforms data such as removing duplicates and standardizing values. A chat agent answers questions about an uploaded file, and a slide deck builder turns a spreadsheet into a presentation that downloads as PowerPoint or PDF. For functions newer than the underlying models, the chat checks Microsoft and Google documentation and links the source. The vendor states that files are encrypted in transit and at rest and are never used to train models.

Pro Plus costs $18 a month for about 10,000 credits, adds an expert model, and allows files up to 100 MB. Annual billing saves 30 percent. Credits refresh monthly on Free and weekly on paid plans, and weekly credits do not roll over.
