Grok

Grok is xAI's conversational assistant. It answers questions, searches the web and X in real time, reasons through multi step problems and generates images and short video, with a voice mode for spoken conversation. The current model is Grok 4.7, released on September 21, 2026 and positioned by xAI as its strongest model for coding and knowledge work; Grok 4.6, from August 2026, targets long running agents and interactive and visual work. It is available at grok.com, in iOS and Android apps, inside X, and through the xAI API, with conversation history synchronized across devices. Capabilities include multi agent reasoning that runs several agents in parallel, image generation up to 2K resolution, video generation of up to 15 seconds at 720p, code generation, file and document analysis and support for more than 30 languages. Grok Build, available on all plans on web and mobile, adds memory, and Grok Bot integrates with X and is offered to enterprises for customer support and procurement use. Grok is free to try on the web and in the apps. The paid SuperGrok tier offers higher limits, priority access and multi agent features, but xAI does not publish its price on the product page; the amount is shown at sign up. For developers, the API prices Grok 4.7 at $2.00 per million input tokens and $6.00 per million output tokens with a 500,000 token context window.
