Songmastr

Songmastr is a web service that masters a song automatically by matching it to a reference track. The user uploads a finished mix as a WAV or MP3 file, then either picks a commercial reference from the catalog or uploads their own, and the service returns a master that follows the reference's loudness, frequency response, peak amplitude and stereo width. It is built on the open source Matchering library and needs no software installation or registration. It suits independent musicians, beatmakers and producers who want a quick final polish. The site advises leaving about 6 dB of headroom on the mix and applying no limiter beforehand, and choosing a reference in the same genre, preferably without vocals when mastering an instrumental. Files are limited to 10 minutes and 80 MB, and uploads are deleted within 24 hours. The service is free for seven masters per week. Beyond that, credit packs do not expire and add to the free allowance, and each includes custom and catalog references and uncompressed WAV output. The Single Pack is $4 for 3 masters of one song. The EP Pack is $10 for 9 masters covering 3 songs. The Album Pack is $20 for 50 masters covering 10 songs. The Studio Pack is $60 for 300 masters covering 30 songs and includes mixing advice for one song. Payment is by credit card or PayPal.
