About Synthesizer V
Synthesizer V is an AI singing voice synthesis product from Dreamtonics Co., Ltd., sold as Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro. Users enter notes and lyrics, choose a voice, and the neural network engine sings the part back. The vendor states the voices are built from recordings of real singers who were licensed for the purpose.
It is aimed at music producers, songwriters, demo makers and vocalists. Voices can be adjusted with vocal modes such as chest, belt and breathy, along with pitch, timbre, pronunciation and timing controls, and Live Rendering shows edits as they are made. Vocals can be written on a MIDI keyboard, imported as MIDI, or converted from a recorded voice into MIDI and re sung with a new voice. Voices are native in English, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean, and Cross Lingual Synthesis lets any voice sing in six languages including Spanish. Choir voice collections are also sold. It runs standalone and as a VST3, AU, AAX and ARA plugin on Windows and macOS.
Prices are one time purchases. Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro costs $99, the earlier Synthesizer V Studio Pro costs $89, and each Dreamtonics voice is listed at $79. Bundles include Studio 2 Pro with one extra voice at $149 and Studio 2 Pro with Vocoflex at $249. A free trial with the core features is available.
