About AI Docstrings
Trelent is a private AI platform for regulated organizations that need to automate workflows involving sensitive information. It reads, analyzes and automates work such as client onboarding, legal document review and compliance checks, and runs entirely inside the customer's own cloud environment so data does not leave it.
The platform targets financial services, legal and cybersecurity firms. It is built in three layers, each deployable on the customer's infrastructure. Data ingestion connects to S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob, Google Drive, SharePoint, documents, audio, video and live streams, and turns them into structured context for language models. Intelligent search provides semantic retrieval with multi hop reasoning, scoped access and full traceability. Agent orchestration runs multi step workflows with typed inputs and outputs, automatic retries, observability and human review. Use cases on the site include scanning financial statements for compliance and risk requirements and flagging issues in legal documents. Trelent also builds these automations directly for customers through its own engineering team.
Pricing is published as a two stage model. Stage one is a two to four month engagement on a monthly retainer of $10k to $25k per month depending on scope, with dedicated engineering support. Stage two moves to outcome based pricing tied to a business metric such as clients onboarded.
The listing name reflects Trelent's earlier product, an AI tool that wrote docstrings for code. The company has since pivoted to private enterprise workflow infrastructure, and the docstring product is no longer presented on its site.
