AirMDR is a managed detection and response service built around an AI security analyst. Its agent triages every alert, investigates cases from start to finish, and produces clear, audit ready case records that explain the evidence and recommended next step. The vendor states that 95 percent of cases are investigated in under five minutes, and it frames the offer as a replacement for traditional managed detection and response that lacks coverage, quality and speed. It is aimed at lean security teams and managed security service providers that cannot staff a round the clock operations center. There are no playbooks or SOAR automation to build, and the agent learns from plain English input. The service combines the AI agent, named Darryl in the free plan, with human accountability and 24/7 monitoring, and connects to more than 40 sources including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, SentinelOne, Okta, AWS, Google Chronicle and QRadar. The free plan, called AirMDR FAST, gives 100 AI alert investigations with no credit card and no sales call, starting with sample alerts and then connecting read only access to your own tools. After the free investigations, each additional investigation is $4. The free tier includes 40 integrations, while covering every integration requires a paid plan.
