About Builder.io
Builder.io is a collaborative platform for building software with AI agents, designed so engineers, designers, product managers and marketers all work in one codebase instead of passing handoffs between tools. It is split into two products: Code, a visual IDE for building apps and interfaces from prompts, from Figma designs or on top of an existing repository, and Content, a visual and agentic CMS for creating, testing and publishing on brand content.
The platform suits product teams that want non engineers to make real changes in the real app. Engineers can code in Builder or their preferred AI tool and push a branch so designers, PMs and QA can polish layouts, edit copy and run tests, with every change using the team's own components and design tokens. The Visual Editor is wired directly into those components, and the Builder Agent can take requests from Slack and Jira. The agentic CMS handles content creation, A/B tests, personalization and scheduled updates with preview and approval steps. Typical uses are prototyping, app and internal tool development, and marketing sites.
The pricing page for Code lists Free at $0 per user per month with 60 monthly Agent Credits (15 daily) and GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket connections; Pro at $24 per user per month with 500 monthly credits, credit rollover and built in MCP servers; and Team at $40 per user per month with 500 credits, AI training opt out, Slack and Jira agent access, custom MCP servers and role based permissions. Extra credits cost $25 per 500 on Pro and Team. Enterprise is custom and adds SSO, RBAC, privacy mode, enterprise git providers and SLAs. Content has its own plan set on the same page, and monthly and annual billing are both offered.
