ClickUp is a work management platform that puts tasks, documents, chat, whiteboards, forms, dashboards and time tracking in a single workspace. Its stated aim is to replace the separate tools a team would otherwise run for project tracking, knowledge management and internal communication, so that the context for a piece of work lives next to the work itself. The current release is ClickUp 4.0. It suits teams and organizations that want one system of record across departments, from software delivery and marketing to operations. Work can be viewed as lists, boards, Gantt charts, calendars and timelines, and automations handle routine updates. The AI layer is ClickUp Brain, which answers questions across the workspace, drafts and summarizes content, and can call Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini models from inside the product. Brain MAX is a desktop assistant with Talk to Text, and AI Agents can be assigned to run workflows without a person triggering each step. Pricing is per user. Free Forever costs nothing. Unlimited is $7 per user per month billed annually or $10 monthly. Business is $12 per user per month annually or $19 monthly. Enterprise is priced on request. AI is a separate add on: Brain AI costs $9 per user per month, or $7.20 annually, and includes 1,500 AI Super Credits a month; Everything AI costs $28 per user per month, or $22.40 annually, with 5,000 credits. Additional AI Super Credits are sold in packs of 10,000 at variable rates.
