About FineShare FineCam
FineCam is a virtual camera application for Windows and Mac that sits between your cameras and any video application. Once installed it appears as a selectable camera source in conferencing and recording tools, so a processed feed can be used in meetings, streams and recordings without changing the software at either end. Its central feature is turning a phone into a wireless high definition webcam, with control over zoom, orientation, resolution, front or rear lens, camera shape, overlay placement, brightness and contrast.
Several cameras can be connected at once, including phones, digital and DSLR cameras, action cameras, external webcams and built in webcams, and a video switcher moves between them as scenes. AI features handle real time background removal and replacement, generate new backgrounds from a prompt, apply a portrait blur effect and enhance color and brightness. A desktop camera mode places the webcam view anywhere on screen for screen recordings, and an iPhone or iPad screen, slides, a web page, a YouTube video, an application window or local media can be shared into the feed.
The free version is capped at two video scenes, 720p output, background removal only, a five minute export limit and a watermark. Regular license prices are listed as $14.27 for one month, $42.84 for one year and $85.99 for a lifetime license, with the monthly and yearly options renewing automatically; the store frequently shows lower countdown priced figures beside these. Paid licenses unlock unlimited scenes, 4K output, more device slots and watermark free export. Team licenses and an education discount are arranged by contacting the vendor.
The product was originally released under the name VibeCam, and a 2.0 release for Mac is announced as in progress.
