Underlord is the AI editing assistant that takes on whole jobs such as turning a rough recording into a finished edit. Studio Sound removes background noise and improves voice quality, Eye Contact corrects a speaker's gaze toward the camera, and the filler word tool strips um and uh in a single pass. Descript records screens and cameras, hosts remote sessions through Rooms, generates captions, clones a speaker's voice for corrections or offers stock AI voices, cuts long recordings into short clips, and on the Business plan translates and dubs video into more than 30 languages. Descript publishes five plans, with annual pricing shown by default. Free is $0 with 60 minutes of media per month, 100 one time AI credits, 720p export with a watermark and 5 GB of storage. Hobbyist is $16 per person per month billed annually or $24 monthly, with 10 hours of media, 400 AI credits per month, 1080p export without watermark, Underlord, Studio Sound, custom voice clones and 100 GB. Creator is $24 annually or $35 monthly, with 30 hours, 800 credits, 4K export, full Underlord access, unlimited stock media and 1 TB. Business is $50 annually or $65 monthly, with 40 hours, 1,500 credits, Brand Studio, translation and dubbing, custom avatars, priority support and 2 TB. Enterprise is custom with SSO and SCIM, dedicated support, data controls and custom legal terms.
