About Gling
Gling is a desktop video editor that automates the first and most tedious pass over raw footage. It transcribes a recording, then cuts bad takes, silences and filler words such as um and uh automatically, leaving a rough edit the creator reviews and refines by editing the transcript text rather than dragging clips along a timeline.
It is built for YouTube creators and anyone producing talking head video. Beyond trimming, it generates captions and subtitles for export as SRT, applies automatic zoom framing, removes background noise, enhances speech audio, supports multicam editing and can insert supporting B roll. It also generates candidate titles and chapter markers intended to perform well on YouTube and suggests ideas for the next video. Finished work exports as MP4 or MP3, or as XML project files for Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve. The product can also generate a video from any link.
Four tiers are published. Free is $0 and covers one hour of AI edited media a month with unlimited watermarked exports. Plus is $20 per month, or $10 per month paid annually, for ten hours of AI edited media or 300 words of video generated from a link, or a combination, with unwatermarked export. Pro is $40 per month, or $20 paid annually, for thirty hours or 900 words. Elite is $100 per month, or $50 paid annually, for one hundred hours or 2,700 words, and includes premium support.
Gling is designed exclusively for desktop. There is no browser version: the site collects an email address and sends a download link instead.
