About LiveDocs
Livedocs is a notebook platform for data analysis with an AI agent attached. You upload files or connect a database, then ask a question in plain language and the agent writes the queries, runs the analysis and returns charts, tables and an explanation. The notebooks are reactive rather than sequential: Livedocs tracks dependencies between cells, marks results as fresh or stale, and reruns only what actually needs updating, in the way a spreadsheet does.
It suits analysts and data teams who want something more capable than a chat assistant but less fragile than a hand assembled stack. Python, SQL, DuckDB, pandas, polars and numpy are available without setup, inputs such as sliders and dropdowns turn a static report into an interactive app, and finished notebooks can be published as shareable apps without deployment code. Supported sources include CSV, TSV, Parquet, JSON, Excel, SQLite, DuckDB and gzip files, with Postgres, ClickHouse and MotherDuck on the basic tier and Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, MySQL and Google Drive reserved for the top tier. Scheduling, terminal access and real time collaboration also sit on the higher plan.
Pricing is published in four tiers, with annual billing cutting 20 percent. Free costs $0 for one user, three notebooks, a $5 cap on AI credits and 4 GB of memory with half a virtual CPU. Builder is $15 per month for five notebooks, $5 of AI credits then pay as you go, and 8 GB with 2 virtual CPUs. Pro is $30 per month plus $20 for each additional member, with unlimited notebooks, 16 GB and 4 virtual CPUs, and every data source. A Custom tier covers on premise deployment, single sign on and dedicated support, and is quoted by the sales team.
