About MindsHub
MindsDB now operates as MindsHub, and the old mindsdb.com address redirects to the new site. MindsHub offers two products built around model choice. MindsHub Agents is an agent workspace where users delegate research, analysis, reports, slides, spreadsheets and small apps, with a Code mode that reviews pull requests, fixes bugs and ships features in the user's own repositories. MindsHub Inference is an API that positions itself as a drop in replacement for OpenAI and Anthropic, giving access to open and closed models from many providers with one key and one bill.
It is aimed at knowledge workers who want an agent that connects to tools such as PostgreSQL, Stripe and Linear through a credentials vault, and at engineering teams that want to route product traffic across providers without rewriting their code. Each model on the rate card lists a failover order, so requests move to a backup model when the primary is unavailable, and reasoning effort can be set per task. Users can also bring their own provider keys.
There is no subscription or plan. The free tier costs $0, needs no credit card, and includes the house model MindsHub Air plus Jev, a decision model for classification, routing and scoring, within fair use and daily limits. Everything else is billed from credits at published rates per million tokens: MindsHub Air lists $0.20 input and $1.20 output outside the free tier, Claude Sonnet 5 lists $2.00 input and $10.00 output, and web search is $10.00 per 1,000 searches. Usage through your own keys is paid directly to those providers.
The company began in Berkeley in 2018 as an open source query engine that brought machine learning models to data inside databases. That original MindsDB engine remains on GitHub and is now maintained by the community.
