About Mr. Cook
Mr. Cook is a recipe manager for iPhone, Android and the web. It collects recipes in one place so they stop being scattered across screenshots, bookmarks and browser tabs, and it adds AI tools for creating and planning meals.
Users can save recipes by pasting a link or sharing from sites and social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Facebook, with the app returning a clean recipe without ads. A camera scan reads handwritten recipe cards and cookbook pages into searchable text that can be scaled and shared. The AI features generate a full recipe from a few typed ingredients or a photo of the fridge, and can tailor recipes to a diet. Other features include a meal planner calendar, a shopping list that builds itself and is sorted by aisle, cookbooks, and nutrition and macro information for each recipe.
It is aimed at home cooks who want one library across devices, with membership synchronized across all of them.
The free plan lets users save 15 recipes, including 3 from Instagram or TikTok, try 3 AI recipe creations and 3 scans of physical recipes, and create 3 cookbooks and 1 limited shopping list. The Pro plan removes those limits and adds fridge photo meal ideas, diet tailored AI recipes and nutrition data. Monthly and yearly billing are offered, and the Pro price is not shown in the page text.
