Notability.ai

Notability is a note taking app from Ginger Labs that combines handwritten notes, typed text, audio recordings, images and imported documents in one workspace. Its AI study tools turn notes into instant summaries, quizzes and flashcards, and let users chat with their notes to get explanations. Other features include live audio transcription, action item lists generated from meeting notes or recordings, YouTube link to note conversion with a transcript and summary, handwriting search, and a gallery of shared templates. The app is aimed at students and professionals and is available on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, iPad and the web. The vendor also offers a Learn Guarantee under which it covers the cost for the rest of the semester if Notability does not help. Individual plans are billed in USD, and the vendor notes that prices may vary. Starter is free with 5 notes. Lite is listed at $14.99 per year for unlimited notes and third party backups on iOS.
