About Orkes
Orkes is the company behind Orkes Conductor, a platform for building and running AI agents and workflows in production. It grew out of Conductor, the open source orchestration engine created at Netflix, and adds AI reasoning to deterministic execution: workflows persist their state automatically, recover from failures, run for as long as a process needs, and record every step for audit. Orkes Cloud is the fully managed deployment, Conductor OSS remains available under an open license, and the Conductor SDK lets teams build durable agents in any framework.
It targets enterprise development teams building applications where an agent's actions must be reliable, observable and governed. Orkes works with LangGraph, the OpenAI Agents SDK, CrewAI and custom agent frameworks, integrates LLMs such as Gemini and OpenAI models directly into workflows, and supports human in the loop approvals, event driven triggers, webhooks and scheduling. Monitoring, explainability dashboards, analytics, RBAC, guardrails and input and output validation are built in, and SDKs are available for Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Ruby and Rust.
Two plans are published. The Developer Edition is free and includes all Conductor OSS features, the enterprise features, early access to new capabilities, prebuilt workflow templates and community support. Enterprise is custom priced and adds Orkes support, custom deployment options and an availability SLA of up to 99.99 percent.
