About Rev
Rev is a transcription and investigative intelligence platform. It converts audio and video into searchable text and then works on top of that text, analyzing whole case files, surfacing details across photographs, drafting documents and clipping key moments. The company pairs automated speech recognition with human verified services, so a file can come back as a machine transcript quickly or as a human checked transcript guaranteed at better than 99 percent accuracy.
The platform is aimed squarely at legal and investigative work: criminal prosecution, criminal defense, law enforcement, civil litigation and court reporting agencies, with secondary use in research, journalism, education and video accessibility. Capabilities include multi file evidence analysis with citations, a document editor that exports to Word or PDF, image analysis, AI templates for chronologies and affidavits, a mobile app for recording interviews in the field, captions in English and Spanish, and subtitles in seventeen languages. Developers can reach the underlying speech to text engine through a separate API documented on the company's developer site.
