About Sensay
Sensay is an offboarding platform that captures what a departing employee knows before they walk out the door. You set up your organization, tell Sensay who is leaving, and it schedules the interview. An AI interviewer named Sophia then talks the person through their role, drawing out the undocumented detail that rarely survives into a handover document. What Sophia collects is combined with the company's existing structured knowledge to build a knowledge base colleagues can question later.
The interview is designed to feel like a conversation rather than a checklist. It runs in text or voice, on the leaver's own terms, and can stretch across a single session or many as they unpack how the work actually gets done. On the other side, colleagues query the resulting knowledge base through Slack, Teams or the web, or ask it to generate a custom document on demand. Administrators keep full control: they can track progress, customize the interviews and manage access. The same approach applies to role changes and to capturing expertise ahead of a retirement, not only to resignations.
Pricing is $500 per knowledge base per year, sold as one plan with every feature included rather than split across tiers. Each knowledge base covers the AI led interview sessions, document and link uploads for added context, encrypted storage, conversational search through Slack, Teams or the web, and administrative control over interviews and access. Custom plans are negotiated for larger situations such as dozens of simultaneous transitions, merger and acquisition integration, or continuous knowledge capture across a whole organization.
New customers go through a demo booking rather than self serve signup, which fits a product sold to HR and operations leaders rather than to individual employees.
