ChatTube

ChatTube is an AI tool for having a conversation with a YouTube video. A user asks questions about what was said, requests a summary, pinpoints key moments, translates a transcript or downloads it, and gets answers drawn from the video content. It also works with podcasts, including Spotify episodes, and can transcribe videos that have no captions. It is aimed at students and educators studying from video lectures, people following technology reviews and tutorials, and content creators researching trends. The service is available through a Chrome extension that adds the chat experience alongside YouTube and through a web app. Longer transcription limits and higher daily credit allowances come with the higher plans. Pricing is published in US dollars per month, with an annual billing option shown at a discount of 50 percent. Essential costs $6.99 per month and includes 30 credits per day, with transcription of up to 45 minutes per video and up to 2 hours per podcast episode. Growth costs $9.99 per month with 100 credits per day, up to 2 hours per video and up to 3 hours per podcast episode. Pro costs $16.99 per month with unlimited credits per day, up to 4 hours per video and up to 6 hours per podcast episode. All paid plans include translation, summaries, transcript downloads, priority email support and early access to new features. New registrants are limited to 3 videos per day.
