Heex Technologies offers the Heex Smart Data Platform, software that helps teams building autonomous systems such as robots, autonomous mobile robots, industrial robots, off road vehicles and smart mobility fleets collect only the data that matters. Instead of logging everything, engineers define event based triggers and conditions, and small packages of relevant data are extracted at the edge or in the cloud. The product has two parts. Heex agents are software components deployed inside robots or in the cloud that filter and extract data using the triggers, and they integrate with robotic control systems including ROS 2 through an SDK. The platform is the cloud side, where teams define their autonomous systems, manage agent configurations with over the air updates, and share and collaborate on captured datasets. A compatibility checker on the site lets visitors confirm whether a given system type, platform and middleware is supported. Heex describes two main uses. For research and development, engineering teams get data collection at the edge and server side data replay to build better training and simulation datasets. For operations, teams get production monitoring, smart anomaly detection and incident notifications. The vendor lists process engineers, tech support teams, data science teams and robotics engineers among its users, and states that logins use OAuth 2.0, API calls use JWT and agent to cloud traffic uses HTTPS.
