About Keploy
Keploy is an open source testing platform that turns real application traffic into tests and dependency mocks. It captures incoming requests and outgoing calls to databases, queues, caches, and external APIs using eBPF and network level interception, with no application code changes, then replays them against new builds in CI to catch regressions. It also generates API tests with AI from OpenAPI or Postman specifications and expands them with edge cases.
It is aimed at engineering teams, including those using coding agents, that want AI written or human written changes verified before they ship. Tests are stored as editable YAML and can run locally, in CI, or across Kubernetes. Supported languages include Node, Go, Java, and Python, with protocol support for HTTP, gRPC, GraphQL, and Kafka, and databases including MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Postgres. The core local record and replay platform is open source under the Apache 2.0 license.
Pricing has three plans. Playground is free and generates tests from specifications. Pro is $19 per user per month plus additional usage, with $19 of included usage credit, contract and load testing, and free viewer seats. Enterprise is quoted on request and adds recording inside Kubernetes, production traffic capture, a mock registry, SSO and RBAC, and private or air gapped deployment.
