Better Analyst is the analytics workspace formerly known as Formula Bot. The original product generated Excel and Google Sheets formulas from a plain language description; the current product keeps that and adds a workspace where users connect data sources, run analysis in chat, build dashboards and automate recurring data work. Existing Formula Bot accounts and workflows carried over. It is built for individuals doing their own analysis, small businesses automating reports and growing teams that want consistent metrics across departments. Users upload CSV, Excel and PDF files or connect one of more than 40 data sources, then ask questions in chat. The tool generates and runs the code, showing the Python, SQL or R behind each answer, and produces charts and dashboards that refresh on their own. It still writes spreadsheet formulas and SQL queries, performs text analysis such as sentiment detection, and Data Flows move cleaned data into Google Sheets or databases on a schedule. Better Analyst publishes three monthly plans, each with a half price first month. Starter is $20 per month ($10 for the first month) with 250 chat messages, 2,500 AI Actions, two automated dashboards, 25 tasks of which two can be scheduled, two connected data sources, unlimited file uploads up to 200 MB and one weekly Data Flow to Google Sheets. Max is $40 per user per month ($20 first month) with unlimited chat, 5,000 AI Actions per user, 10 dashboards, 50 tasks, 10 data sources, 500 MB uploads and five daily Data Flows to Sheets and databases. Business is $80 per user per month ($40 first month) with 15,000 AI Actions per user, 20 dashboards, unlimited tasks, 50 data sources, 1 GB uploads and 20 hourly Data Flows to any destination. A custom plan covers larger AI Action volumes, extra dashboards and custom connectors. Older links still say Formula Bot or Excel Formula Bot; betteranalyst.com is the same product under its new name.
