About Floneum
Floneum is a graph editor for building workflows around local large language models. Users connect nodes in a drag and drop interface to chain together text generation, structured text generation, embeddings, search and other steps, so language tasks can be automated without writing a full application.
It is aimed at developers and technically inclined users who want to run model driven workflows on their own machine. The editor ships with 41 built in plugins covering embeddings and embedding databases, text and structured text generation, web search, conditionals, reading and writing files, running Python, browser automation actions such as creating a browser, finding nodes, clicking and typing, fetching articles, reading RSS, and list, string and math operations.
Plugins run as WebAssembly modules in a sandbox, and each receives access only to the resources it needs rather than full access to the system. Plugins can be written in any language that compiles to WebAssembly. The project provides wrappers for Rust and also names C, Java and Go as options. The site links a guide for building a first plugin.
