About PixAI
PixAI is an image generator built around anime, manga and illustration styles. A short text description returns a finished picture in the browser with nothing to install, and the platform is organized as much around its community library as around the generator itself: creators publish models and LoRAs, and any published artwork can be reopened so its exact setup is reused as the basis for a new piece.
Beyond text to image generation the platform covers original character design, placing a character a user has defined into new scenes and backgrounds for manga style compositions, and editing of uploaded images through style transfer, retouching, upscaling and turning a rough sketch into a finished illustration. The community also builds small novelty tools on top of the generator. A daily credit allowance lets the service be used without paying, with private generation, higher resolution output and faster queues reserved for members. There are mobile applications alongside the web app.
Membership is sold in three tiers. Starter is $9.99, Plus is $29.99 and Premium is $49.99 on the monthly cycle, with annual pricing published at $60.00, $180.00 and $300.00 respectively. All plans renew automatically, unused credits roll over into the next cycle rather than expiring, and a fresh allowance is issued on each renewal. Payments made through PayPay and GMO do not support automatic renewal and lapse at the end of the period unless renewed by hand; a manual renewal stacks its duration onto the existing expiry date.
PixAI is built and operated by Mewtant in the United States together with its Japanese entity, Metanomaly Inc.
