SpeechEasy is a text to speech app that converts typed text or a web link into natural sounding synthetic voice audio. It uses AI and machine learning to produce studio grade voices, aimed at people who want to listen to articles on the go or at a desk, and at teams adding narration to e learning content. The app works across desktop and mobile, with generated audio files available on both, and needs a network connection. Users choose from nearly a dozen high definition voices, with more being added regularly. The interface is deliberately minimal, and the vendor says it keeps the amount of personal information it collects to a minimum. Planned use cases listed as coming soon are voice over for marketing videos, voice over for learning, and audio books and articles for publishing. The site lists four options. Starter is free and includes access to all voices and the app features. Content Creator is sold as an in app purchase, Marketer is marked as coming soon, and Enterprise is arranged through the sales team. No dollar prices are published for the paid options.
